Account Manager

Purpose:

The role entails the further development of relationships with existing clients who are already well established within the company's comprehensive portfolio of travel partners. This role is to increase business with the focus of meeting and exceeding revenue targets that will be set for sales within the selected territory. You will achieve your objective by building on existing client relationships and having the ability to up-sell, cross-sell and proactively seek new opportunities to help the client conduct their business in a more efficient way.

You will need strong account management skills and the ability to build on existing relationships quickly and gain the customer confidence. Your knowledge of the products and the travel industry will be key to your success in keeping Traveltek’s position within the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador for the Traveltek brand in the market, build and maintain meaningful relationships with the key decision-makers within existing client base

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients to deliver sales and revenue growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual territory sales targets (revenue and profit-based)

Purpose:

Deliver excellent client support and issue resolution through the management and leadership of the Support team.  Accountable for performance of a globally dispersed Support team against customer-facing and internally-driven SLAs. We're looking for a technical writer to help us improve our internal and external documentation, communicating our extensive platform in the most clear, concise and accurate manner possible. As a technical writer, your role will involve tasks such as writing product documentation, creating code examples and system best practices, as well as creating support system FAQs.

Our platform is always evolving, and our target audience is both non-technical users and developers. You will communicate with hundreds of customers in 30 countries, managing not only the production of all documentation, but it's translation into other languages. You will also help communicate effectively internally, with the production of documentation for own teams. You may have a background as a developer, or simply be an experienced writer with a strong technical background.

In this role you will be required to work with various in-house web applications to help you resolve any issues that may arise, you will be speaking to our customers regularly via telephone and through our online ticketing portal, speaking with third-party suppliers, and acting as part of our 24 hour support team to provide the best service available.

Hong Kong - Sales & Account Manager

Location: Hong Kong

The Traveltek Group operates in over 30 countries worldwide and as part of our ongoing expansion; we require business development and account managers to assist us within Asia. The ideal candidates will be multi-lingual (English + Asian languages), already be operating within the travel industry and will have a keen interest in the tech world of travel and of course a strong work ethic. We are currently recruiting for Web Application Support Consultants to join our team in Uppal, Hyderabad - 500039, Telangana, India.

Our support team are responsible for looking after our customers, helping them use our web based application, and resolving any problems that might occur.

In this role you will be required to work with various in-house web applications to help you resolve any issues that may arise, communicating with customers through our online ticketing portal, speaking with third-party suppliers, and acting as part of our 24 hour support team to provide the best service available.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with strong technical and customer support skills to help provide world class service to our customers across the globe.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Answering support tickets entered via our online portal
  • Helping customers understand how different parts of our application work
  • Problem solving issues on our application, which may involve fixing bugs in the Perl code
  • Understanding our customers businesses and how they use the system
  • Finding problems in XML requests and responses
  • Speaking with third-party suppliers about API integrations
  • Having technical discussions with customers and other Traveltek stafff

Our ideal candidate will have experience in this field, with existing customer service skills and a good technical background.

Applicants must have the following:

  • A good technical background, such as a relevant IT qualification, work experience or demonstrable skills

It is beneficial if applicants also have:

  • Previous experience in a similar capacity
  • Experience working with Linux, MySQL, SVN and/or Git
  • Knowledge of XML based APIs
  • Programming experience in any language, preferably Perl and/or Python
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new aspects in this area of work
  • Great organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

As we provide 24 hour support, you need to be willing to work day and night shifts, based in our Hyderabad office.
